The Kingdom of God, in Brief

There is a better world coming, and I believe it will be soon. That world is the Kingdom of God, which was part of Jesus' and the apostle's teaching in the New Testament (Mark 13:34-37; Matthew 6:33; Acts 8:12; Acts 19:8; Acts 28:30-31; 2 Thessalonians 1:4-5), as well being the subject matter found throughout the whole Bible.

Like any kingdom of man, the Kingdom of God will have specific things, such as a king, land or territory, a capital, government, subjects, benefits for its subjects, and laws of the land to live by. There are also prerequisites to becoming members of that Kingdom, and the Bible reveals all this information for us.

The King, Jesus Christ - Isaiah 11:1-5; Isaiah 9:6-7; 2 Samuel 7:12,13, 16; Luke 1:31-33

The Capital, Jerusalem - Isaiah 2:2-4; Jeremiah 3:17; Matthew 5:33-35

The Territory, Israel, and then the whole world - Genesis 13:14-17; Galatians 3:16; Genesis 15:18-21; Daniel 2:34, 35 & 44; Daniel 7:13, 14 & 27; Zechariah 9:9-10; Psalm 2:6-12; Jeremiah 23:5

The Subjects, firstly the Jews who survive Armageddon, secondly the rest of the nations of the world - (1) Zechariah 13:8-9; Zechariah 14:8-11; Jeremiah 31:31-34 - (2) Zechariah 14:16; Zechariah 8:20-23; Isaiah 66:23; Jeremiah 3:17

The Laws, righteous and equitable - Psalm 72:2-4, 12-14; Isaiah 11:1-5; Jeremiah 23:5-6

The Benefits for the Subjects of the Kingdom
